The instructions are not clear. I did message the owner and she responded quickly! It’s a great pattern but the ruffle doesn’t ruffle since it just fits the leg whole. I even made the extra small shorts and used the full length for the ruffle and it still barely had any ruffle to it. This could be an excellent product with a few tweaks. I followed my own knowledge for making a casing and it turned out great. If you are an experienced seamstress you can make it work. If you are a beginner I recommend messaging her for more instructions.

I gave her 4 stars instead of 5 bc although the shorts came out perfect. I did have to look up a YouTube tutorial on how exactly to put the shorts together, bc I think the instructions are missing a few directions / steps. It also doesn’t teach you how to create a ruffle or explain it , which I think would be easy to do in words. HOWEVER my shorts came out perfectly!!! The measurements are great IMO! and her customer service was phenomenal !!! As I could not figure out what her seam allowance was . She let me know it’s 1 CM!!!!! Within a few hours of asking !

I really enjoyed this pattern! Only thing off was that the ruffle did not fit the short leg, so I ended up just cuffing it!

I could follow the pattern, but the proportions are very off. The shorts were large on me and the bottom ruffle section was only the size of the leg hole, so there was not extra fabric for ruffling. Disappointing because the shorts could be so cute! :(

EDIT: after exchanging with the owner, I want to adjust my review. While the sizing may have been off for me, the instructions are clear, and the this storeis extremely reactive and helpful!
