Loved making this! I didn't add boning because I made it for a school musical so it was pretty low budget (this whole outfit was made with 2 bedsheets and an old dooner cover. True to size.
Overall, this pattern was great! I'm very new to sewing (I've done 2 dresses and now this), so the instructions weren't very clear to me in some cases. But some YouTube searching and testing things worked out!
I decided against the zipper and just sewed those pieces together which worked well!
I'm on the bigger end (46" bust, 40" waist), so I used the largest size. At first, I was concerned it still wouldn't be big enough, but it's perfect!
I am in no way an expert at sewing, but the results were stunning! It's easy once you understand how to piece it together and the result fit perfectly! I had a lot of compliments
Being a really beginner seamstress (I had only made a book sleeve before, but I knew how to use the machine), it took me a while to understand the instructions, but I succeeded. I am very happy with the result, it took me 10 days. On the other hand, I could have taken the size below (an S instead of an M because it was too wide so I had to cut it.) I am 1m75.
First corset top I ever made! The pattern is very comprehensive and the instructions easy to follow. Turned out pretty well, a little messy still! I'll definitely make another one in the future!
Instructions weren't clear when advising what would be needed to make this corset. Very happy with the finished product, but I was a bit confused when all of a sudden I needed a zip. This store contacted me and was very helpful and supportive. Thanks!
The pattern was super easy to follow! The only thing that was a bummer was that it did not include the length of bias tape needed (which is about 6-8 yards) so I had to go out to the store mid project to buy more. It ended up fitting like a glove by the end!
Also so easy I ended up making a second for my sister.
